Mesopotamian Cities in Turkey
Basically, Mesopotamia is the ancient name of a region in Southwest Asia that is located between the rivers Tigris and Euphrates. In terms of modern geographical borders, Mesopotamian land is shared between the countries Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, in other words, it is a part of the new world's middle east. Mesopotamia is famous for its old history, the civilizations, and the innovations raised in it. Besides its rich historical and cultural heritage this area is still the route that links the east and the western world. Since I am based in Mardin, one of the most beautiful Mesopotamian cities, I want to give some brief information about the Mesopotamian cities in Turkey to visit and discover.
